Quality Control Intern

June - August 2017 • East Syracuse, NY

What I liked

The program was well organized and the internship project was interesting and relevant. I learned a lot from working with BMS employees and observing the biologics manufacturing process. It was fun to meet the other interns and make friends with like-minded people. BMS is a great company and provided a lot of opportunities to their summer interns.

What I wish was different

I don't have any negative comments.

Advice

Start searching for internship opportunities early, December or January before the summer you are applying for. I applied to the BMS internship through their website in late January and heard back by February/March for a phone interview. The sooner you start writing your resume/cover letter and filling out applications, the better.

Manufacturing Suppy and Technology Intern

May - August 2017 • New Brunswick, NJ

What I liked

My boss was fantastic. I was given plenty of responsibility and I felt like my talents were both recognized and utilized.

What I wish was different

Nothing. I had a great experience both times.

Advice

Whenever you have an internship meet with and introduce yourself to as many people as possible. It will be a little awkward at first but it will help you get the help you need for your project and hopefully a future recommendation of two.
