This was my first real job (work with family doesn't count; the dynamic is never the same if your boss is a family member). I learned how to interact with other workers and fulfill tasks repeatedly in a timely manner.
What I wish was different
I wish I had known that it is better to work up front than in the back. It would have been a great exercise in humility and speaking with others.
Advice
If you ever eat at a Chick-Fil-A, don't order the grilled nuggets. They're hard to make. We have side salads if you want to eat healthy; they don't have meat, so they're low fat.

What I liked
My coworkers are very nice. The hours are flexible and they give you a chance to make a higher wage.
What I wish was different
The customers could be rude sometimes and instead of addressing it my managers would pacify it with a gift card.
Advice
To work at Chick-fil-A you must be willing to give a lot of energy and remain positive.

What I liked
I love the way the owner really cares about her employees, and I appreciate the scholarship opportunitie the corporation provides.
What I wish was different
I wish I had begun working there sooner, since I've had much better experiences there than at other previous jobs.
Advice
Working in the kitchen would be difficult for those without any prior food service experience.
