Software Engineer Intern

May 2022 - August 2022 San Francisco, CA
“I am deeply appreciative of my internship experience at Climate because I was able to begin my career in technology in an inclusive corporate culture that provided support and encouragement from team members and superiors during my internship project. Onboarding onto the iOS team was wonderful in the hybrid sense to connect with team members intercontinentally. I greatly appreciated working with my mentor and manager and working to become more independent over time to take accountability of my chosen internship project. Being able to learn a variety of new skills as well as get a notable understanding of the product and the power of agricultural technology was incredibly fulfilling on a day to day basis. It was a pleasure to see the importance of my work and feel valued as a member of the team. It was wonderful to be able to connect with team members and other members of Climate outside of the work itself through social events. This part of the internship experience was especially memorable as we, as interns and accompanying members, had sailed across the bay area and explored the city of San Francisco. Even outside of the bay area, I was able to join a few other Climate employees to take a field trip to a Bayer research farm and learn more about the work connected to the parent company. Overall, it was great to connect with members of various teams via intern and other networking events hosted by Climate and through the work itself.”
