I loved my coworkers and the work we were doing! Everyone at the office was incredibly open to answering questions and helping me learn more about what the organization was doing. I also got a great opportunity to learn a lot more about immigration law and its complexities. Once I got the position, I was able to have a lot of agency in terms of the types of projects I worked on and what I did with them. Likewise, I got to put my Spanish skills to use and practice everyday throughout the internship. I love Esperanza!
