This isn't the type of internship where you go on coffee runs or do boring office work. They value your opinions and give you hands-on experience in the day to day activities of a music publisher.
What I wish was different
Nicole, the creative director, recently got a new job and isn't with Little Extra anymore. Nicole left on good terms and her decision was supported by the group, but I'm still sad to not be working with her anymore.
Be present! I have learned more at this internship by paying attention and talking to various people that walk in and out. You can learn a lot from anyone, especially in this office. Become familiar with the catalog, because they really do value your opinion.
