I liked the equipment and the exposure to enterprise grade equipment I couldn't have learned without going to the internship.
What I wish was different
I wish I got paid for the manual labor I did since it was mostly 90% manual labor 10% learning.
Advice
It doesn't matter how "Expert" you are in the field, in terms of getting chosen for a job offer it will always be your external social skills that would land you one. IT students should be taking more speech and or management classes to enhance your collaboration and team-work skills along with the social skills to get you in that job, everything else is secondary and you could learn it on the job.
