New Student Orientation and Transition Programs

“Prior to working as a Peer Advisor for Summer Orientation my goal was to become a high school history teacher. After joining the summer orientation team I fell in love with higher education and I have found my true calling. Being a Peer Advisor allowed me to represent CSU, Chico as a frontline ambassador and help incoming students start their Chico experience. As my time as a Peer Advisor ended, I was not ready to say goodbye. I had the honor to join an amazingly diverse team who loved our university as much as I did. Because of this experience, I want to continue a career in higher education. ”
