I had worked with the staff previously as a Resident Educator and was looking forward to working with them again. My bosses were great and made working there a good job to have.
What I wish was different
The job was initially a stipend position and changes with HR had it become an hourly pay job but the way our hours were laid out made that complicated. The job would have been better staying a stipend pay system.
Advice
Don't take parent complaints personally. When some students didn't get everything they wanted their parents will call the office to complain, and when there is nothing you can do, they have a tendency to lash out. Don't take it personally and just try to stay polite.
