What I liked
I enjoyed working on my own schedule, and creating a fun working environment for myself and the students I worked with.
What I wish was different
Working on my own meant I had fewer resources, so in this sense, I would have liked having an organization to work for or with.
Advice
Creating an orderly schedule can be difficult, so make sure you take into account the preparation hours. Also, set clear professional rules and boundaries when starting out, so as to cause as few misunderstandings and confusion as possible.
