The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve is a 10,600 acre adventure sports facility bordering the New River Gorge National River and the newest national property of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Summit Bechtel Reserve is home to a BSA National High Adventure Base, Scout Camp and Training & Leadership Center. It's programs focus on "adventure sports" including, but not limited to: rock climbing, mountain-biking, whitewater rafting, shotgun shooting, skateboarding, zip-lining, kayaking, BMX, archery, and much more!
