The UCSB Department of Recreation is one of the largest employers on campus with over 600+ student positions. Most programs like Intramural Sports, Sports Clubs and Student Events, are heavily student-run. Students work in a fast-paced, professional environment, and directly with career staff mentors. Through working at the Department, they build positive relationships, gain first hand experience in developing management, organization and leadership skills.
