Customer Service Representative

What I liked

It was a typical cashier job. Smaller store meant more responsibility for the associates. I had to stock, clean, cashier, print photos, etc

What I wish was different

Nothing really. It was a decent job for what it was.

Advice

If you hate cashier, don't get this job. Lots of the associates hated it and tried to force me onto cashier all the time.

Certified Pharmacy Technician

May 2018 • Princeton, NJ

What I liked

Working as a pharmacy technician my second year of college was really helpful to me, as it introduced me to the material I would be studying. I got to familiarize myself with the medications and policies that I am now learning about as a third year pharmacy student.

What I wish was different

It was really difficult at first to adapt to such a fast pace environment, so I wish my training had been to shadow another technician instead of trial and error.

Advice

Apply to multiple locations, be prepared to work in a fast pace retail setting, and always ask questions if you are unsure of the proper procedures!
