If so, the Career Design Center is looking for Peer Coaches to guide and motivate students one-on-one as they develop goals related to seeking opportunities in preparation for life after college.

  • Become one of the best. You'll learn the strategies to build the best resumes, cover letters and online profiles that will show recruiters why they should pay attention. 
  • Explore majors and career paths while engaging in continuous training in the area of career development 
  • Help other students develop eye-catching resumes, cover letters and online profiles, as well as mastering the art of job and internship searching. 
  • Conquer your fears. Coaching others is just not your thing. Don't worry! As a peer coach, you'll learn tips that will make you a pro in no time and gain confidence that you’ll carry through life.

Schedule & Pay: 
Successful candidates must be able to come in-person to 259 Capen Hall, North Campus to work. You must have 10-20 hours of availability during the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. There may be limited evening opportunities available.  Pay range for this position is $13.20 to $13.70 dependent on degree program. This position can be work-study eligible.
 
Qualifications: 
Open to all undergraduate and graduate level students of any degree area 
Extremely reliable and committed individuals who are enthusiastic about mentoring others
