One piece of advice I would share about an internship is take complete control of the opportunities you are given in college. Once you get into an internship, network with all of the staff around you and get well acquainted with everyone you work with. Go above and beyond your tasks and ask many questions. Anyone around you pouring into your experience could be a reputable reference after you leave college so leave an outstanding impression and reputation. Be creative and come up with a program or idea you can leave behind that will follow you throughout life and that company can continue to do in honor of you. Always be on time and act as if this is a real job, because it can lead to one.
