What I liked

I appreciated the experience learning more medical terminology and working with physicians to see if it was a future career that I would like to pursue.

What I wish was different

I would like to do more hands on medical training, but working with the computers was still a great experience.

Advice

I would highly recommend a part-time Medical Scribe position for any student pursuing a career in medicine, whether that be nursing, PA or medical school. The experience really prepares you for the reality of patient encounters and let's you get comfortable with medical terminology.
