What I liked

I was able to learn Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in order to create a streamlined directory for the company. I also had one-on-one contact with clients daily in order to confirm measurements on technical drawings. More importantly, I grasped structural knowledge regarding the effects of fluid properties on structures.

What I wish was different

I wish the experience could have been longer, but I was taking classes at Florida International University Summer A and did not want to spread myself too thin.

Advice

Start internships as early as possible! It is never too soon to start and never too late either. Internships are an opportunity for an individual to grow not only as a professional but also a person, interpersonally.
