I wish the research between the students was more succinct and organized.
Advice
Follow the exact rules given by your bosses. Never show up late, always seek out your bosses to ask for more work, they love seeing initiative from interns.

Financial Analyst Intern

What I liked
Very hands on and real world experience. Formed good relationships with my fellow interns as well as the current employees working with the firm. Also, the office itself was beautiful, located in the American express building, so I experienced a very similar commute to what I would expect following graduation.
What I wish was different
The fact that the internship was unpaid was disappointing, however receiving a class credit as well as the experience made it well worth it.
Advice
Be prepared to put in the hours and understand your role with the company. Every person working at the firm is an key component to the whole operating success, and even if a task seems pointless and tedious, each assignment is important to the overall success of the company.

What I liked
It was a great experience. I was able to learn a lot about the finance overall. I strongly recommend it as a first internship.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more struture in the internship. I would have enjoyed having a set schedule of tasks each week or day. I wish there was a set schedule for calling.
Advice
Make sure to utilize your schools library resouces such as Privco and Bloomberg.
