I absolutely loved the work I was doing transcribing old anthropological documents on Native American tribes and digitizing photos.
What I wish was different
It took a while to set up. I would have liked to have started sooner and had a clearer view of what work I would be doing

What I liked
This internship was a great opportunity to get an in-depth look at working in museums and research libraries. Because the museum staff is so small, I was also able to get a good sense of different departments in a way that probably wouldn't be possible at a bigger institution, and I was able to make a real contribution to their exhibition research.
