Anderson University Marketing & Communication department constantly shows up for their students and invests in them professionally and personally. I know I can come to anyone in the department with a question or problem and they will enthusiastically help me or point towards the answer. Leadership has empowered me and given me the resources and responsibilities to widen my skill set.

For anyone applying to work on the social media team, have a strong portfolio in addition to your resume. Utilize the resources at the career center to look over and improve your resume/cover letter. I made an Instagram account and created content to prove my skills in writing, filming, editing, and planning content. A representative portfolio will give leadership an example of what type of work you would do on the team.
