The Animal Park at the Conservators Center is a nonprofit wildlife park with a mission to educate visitors, care for animals, and advocate for various species. In short, we focus on high quality animal welfare and engaging public conservation education. Our park hosts lions, tigers, binturongs and wolves—just to name a few "star" species—that reside at the park and enjoy attention from visitors on guided tours and during small special events.
We strive to provide a premier educational experience at every level of zoological involvement. This ranges from the public’s experience on our highly rated park tours to our industry-leading internship program for future animal husbandry professionals. The Park also contributes to ongoing genetics, cancer and behavioral research, and often collaborates with a regional veterinary school for learning opportunities for students and faculty. Staff members from the Park are encouraged to continue their education and some actively participate in multiple national industry organizations.
