Advice
Don’t be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone and try new things. This job gave me a lot of experience that I otherwise would not have had the opportunity to receive if I did not apply. I was worried about my abilities to teach and connect with the preschool students in the beginning. However, by the end of my time there I had learned valuable skills that have been very beneficial to me in my current job search. I also gained more confidence in my overall ability to educate others. Had I not gone out of my comfort zone and applied for this job over the summer, I would have never known how much of an positive impact would have on me in the future.
