The Borderlands Archive and History Center at the Boone County Public Library offers a combination of resources, programs and services to the community we serve. We provide genealogy and historical research assistance, facilitate programs tailored to students and adults, and regularly offer heritage tours. Our history center collection consists of both physical and digital resources and is listed with the National Park Service's Network to Freedom as a research facility for Underground Railroad and African American history. We are a repository for archival donations from the community and manage archival county clerk and court records
