I wish they rewarded loyalty better. They are paying new hires this year significantly more than employees that have been here for over a year- makes loyal employees feel unimportant/unappreciated

This was a fun job with a lot of challenges to work through.

Everything was based on the amount of time appointments were showing up. If we ever got behind early in the day the rest of the day seemed very rushed.
Advice
This was my most challenging job, but also my favorite when I look back at it. It’s worth it to keep working at it when things get difficult.

I loved the company and how they treated their employees. The bonding was great and working with technology is the best industry to be in at the moment.

Best Buy was a great place to work at. The people around you really want you to succeed and they will provide the support and resources needed to help you do that. The culture is fantastic and it really did feel like one big team.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had known earlier what I was getting myself into and getting the opportunity to work with other interns. When there are so many interns, it would have been nice to get the chance to work with them.
Advice
I think it is imperative to be open to anything. Being an intern is a great way to get yourself exposed to so many different parts of a business even if you are not directly working on that team and Best Buy is no different.

I enjoyed having a consistent schedule and being able to work mornings while having afternoons free. Employee benefits were also good. Management was flexible with hours.
