it wasn't too hard of a job labor wise, but it's customer service so there's ups and downs with that.
What I wish was different
The Standing. If they gave a us a stool or something, I would have been so much more eager to go back and work there.

If you can stand on your feet a long time this is a good job.

Working in retail is not easy but I think it can be particularly fun. At big lots your team becomes your family and the store becomes a second home. My advice to others would be to enjoy the social experience working in retail gives you. You gain great people and problem solving skills.

Retail is tough and I definitely don’t enjoy it fully, but it’s a paycheck and more experience working with people.
