Mechanical Engineering Intern

June - August 2019 • Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony

What I liked

I got to develop my German technical skills while learning about the Automotive industry in Europe. Learning about the design process in the Automotive industry was incredible. Travelling was a huge bonus. Every weekend I went somewhere else in Germany. Also the people I worked with were amazing, still in touch with them.

What I wish was different

I would have loved more time there. It was great! Housing was also quite expensive compared to salary.

Advice

Take advantage of every day fully. Stay late if you need but get into your project and invest yourself in it. I think understanding it is the hardest part but once you're past that, it can be very beneficial.
