The internship is very nice. I learned a lot from the agency. We got a hand on experience on a project. People there are friendly. The intern mentors are friendly and they are willing to teach. You can also network with staff, interns, and even CEO.

What I liked
I felt very included in the community of Boathouse and like my presence as an intern was valued. It felt like they were doing the program for us which I really appreciated.
What I wish was different
I wish we had more opportunity to see what employees did day to day. I would have loved to shadow some team members at Boathouse or help them with their work but that was not a focus of the program.
Advice
Go in with an open mind and ask lots of questions. Everyone there wants to help you learn and asking questions and meeting with people 1 on 1 can be super helpful.
