Nothing comes to mind other than I wish I started earlier
Advice
It's really rewarding and I would recommend starting in patient transport rather than going straight to the emergency room that way you can get a better idea of the hospital layout beforehand.

Take advantage of every opportunity the VA has to offer. Actively seek out mentors.

Getting to know the VA system better. It was an amazing hands-on experience. I had a lot of different things that I was exposed to which made it interesting.
