How do policies impact people?

Meet with community organizers and local advocates who are working to create economic and social opportunities in the borderlands.

Summer Intern

July 2019 - August 2019 Tucson, AZ
“I loved working for a non-profit that was part of a larger network of activist groups. They had a very strong culture of caring for one another and checking in with each other regularly. It was a nice change from other jobs that were less personal and more focused on the amount of work you get done. They also really focused on helping me learn a lot and gave me a lot of flexibility in what I could do while I was there. ”
