What I liked
I was able to learn about the types of research being conducted in my field through seminars. As well as learn about graduate school and tips and tricks surrounding the topic through workshops.
What I wish was different
I wished I had been assigned a different lab to work in because the work being done within the lab I was a part of was not stimulating to me.
Advice
Be active in making sure you can learn as much as you can from the people around you. Be it your mentors or other students in the lab its important to try and digest as much as you can to learn what working in different fields is like to better engage where you want to go in your career.
