What I liked

There was lots of room for learning and feedback on various projects, including creating graphics for social media, digital magazines, the International Bra Sewing Bee website, and biweekly newsletters. I got to work closely with a strong team to develop my marketing and communication skills.

What I wish was different

There were times when things we not as organized as they could have been, or ideas drawn out too late in the conference preparation process to be completed as thoroughly as I'd have liked.

Advice

It’s okay to take shortcuts sometimes. There’s a large amount of work to be done, and many templates in Canva and past email campaigns in Omnisend to copy and edit. You can copy and paste from old emails sent while collecting giveaway information or vendor partnerships. Often team leaders will recommend this route. Not everything has to be made from scratch or done the hard way! Try to have fun with designs and enjoy this unique experience.
