Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

About Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

In our 90th year, Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is the only full-service, nonprofit agency in Middle Tennessee providing services to the Deaf and hard of hearing communities. In 2017, programs include The Signing ACEs (early literacy intervention, after-school program, camps), Interpreting Services (24,000+ hours annually), and Adult Education & Outreach (AEO). AEO includes ASL classes and Deaf culture and language workshops. AEO includes Empowerment & Advocacy (case management, job training and placement, assistance with housing, access to services, education, etc.) and LivingWell, a fully-accessible health and fitness program.
