I really enjoyed a lot of the people that I worked with and that I was able to be hands on and out in the field. I gained really good experience shadowing my superintendents and learned more about the financial side of a project from my APM.
What I wish was different
I wish that my jobsite had been a little more prepared to have an intern and there were more opportunities to meet people across the company.
Advice
I would share that if you hear about something you find even a little bit interesting, ask about it and learn as much as you can. Seek out assignments and tasks and don't be afraid to speak up if something happens.

Construction Superintendent Intern
May - August 2019 • Denver, CO
What I liked
I had a good experience with this company and the people were really fun to work with. The Denver office is a lot of younger people which makes it a very active office in a very active city.
What I wish was different
There were some things with the framework of the internship that I would change but nothing to get into detail with
Advice
Get as much experience as you can and always ask questions if you don't know something.
