From its inception in 1955, BryLin Hospital has been recognized as an industry leader in behavioral health care throughout Upstate New York. At BryLin Hospital we offer short-term psychiatric stabilization for children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with a presenting emotional or behavioral crisis. We offer comprehensive assessment, crisis stabilization and individualized care. Treatment is evidence based, person/family centered, trauma sensitive and multidisciplinary.
On the fourth floor of the Hospital is our Center of Excellence – Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Program where we offer inpatient and ambulatory ECT, recognized by many as the most rapid-acting, FDA approved treatment there is for major depression and other mental illnesses.
