With our grassroots, community-driven projects, we specialize in customized volunteer experiences and internship programs for professional development. Buena Onda operates in partnership with local and community-centered NGOs around Guatemala. Our role with these organizations is to assist with the finding and placement of volunteers and interns. When interns are placed with Buena Onda, we organize their housing, transportation, and any other local experiences they may be interested in. Our organization will be in regular contact with both the intern and the project they are placed at to conduct evaluations and assist with problem solving, we are not, however, considered the day-to-day supervisor for the intern, as that role lies with the specific project the intern is placed with.
