Software Quality Assurance Intern

August 2017 • Provo, UT

What I liked

They are very good about flexibility. I was able to work full-time over the summer when I could, and was able to take vacations in August and come right back to work.

What I wish was different

My only regret is that the work I do does not apply directly to my area of interest (Data Science and Machine Learning)

Advice

If you can get a job at BYU Broadcasting Digital Media department, do it! It is a great hands-on stepping stone into the software development workforce, and the full-time employees are very good about giving students experience coding for real-life production software.
