It has been my favorite summer that i have experience so far. It was challenging yet pushed me to improve daily. I loved the interactions and conversations that I got to experience.

Camp Barnabas is an incredible way to learn communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. I love the staff and directors there and they do an incredible job at making you feel included and valuable.

What I liked

I loved the perspective I gained from working with individuals with special needs. It was such a unique experience that I know will be applicable to my pursuit of becoming a physical therapist. The Lord revealed himself to me in new ways that have truly transformed the person I am.

What I wish was different

Nothing, honestly. It was the greatest months of my life.

Advice

Never lose sight of the grace and mercy that we swim in! I was surrounded by people who lacked the blessings that I so often take for granted - such as legs, a mind that processes, lungs that breathe, etc. This truly provided a perspective to life that I needed to see.
