What I liked

The managers treat their employees very well, the center itself is beautiful, it's a very friendly work environment.

What I wish was different

I wish there was more room for growth in the company.

Advice

Patience is key. Also if you are someone who likes to grow and change positions as time goes on, make that clear going into a position.

What I liked

It’s an amazing and very accepting community. All staff members are very supportive of each other and want to help each other grow. A very enriching environment.

What I wish was different

40+ hour work weeks in the sun.

Advice

Admit when you need help with something, and everyone will offer you a hand. Don’t keep quite about your struggles.

Camp Counselor

May - August 2019 • Marietta, GA

What I liked

All of your coworkers are fantastic and the kids you get to work with are very excited to be there. You also get laid to hangout in nature and have fun.

What I wish was different

There was not a very strong leadership system and praise was not common, you had to just believe that you were doing good because the few leaders there were would not tell you.

Advice

I suggest that you get a comfortable pair of shoes and get used to the heat, you will be outside all day.
