Go in willing to work hard, and don't be afraid to be goofy and have fun. The kids love it. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

What I liked
I loved the people I got to work with and my bosses. They were all supportive and loving and really took time to mentor me. I also loved the job itself. The opportunity to teach children how to ride and take care of horses was wonderful. I could see them grow in confidence and honestly happiness. It was truly a beautiful experience
What I wish was different
Camp has a few logistical issues, but they’re being worked out with time and leadership.
Advice
If you go into the summer with selfish intentions you’re going to find yourself drained very, very quickly. But if you go with the intention to serve the children and teach them about God then you’ll find that that is where your strength and energy is coming from.
