A lot of students are worried about getting internships or "real jobs" during the summer, but the skills you learn in a non-traditional job or internship are beneficial to any area of study or work. I learned much more in a hands-on environment than I would have sitting behind a desk or making copies for a corporate job. I would highly recommend students work at a summer job that allows them to step into a leadership role and learn from experience as they go.

Camp Counselor

What I liked
The people were very kind and genuine. And the adventure program was very empowering to young girls. It showed that girls could be leaders and find the love for outside. You get to work outside everyday and are always in nature. It doesn't feel like a job it just feels fun.
