I loved working with children in a relaxed, fun-driven environment. I liked that my job was to help the campers have the best time possible, which was extremely rewarding.
What I wish was different
I wish I was younger so I could keep returning to camp. This past summer was likely my end of my camp career after nine years.
Advice
I would suggest a camp job, whether that be programming or being a counselor, because I think working with children every day is both a blessing and a great way to truly make a positive impact on people's lives with your summer job.
