At SMashBox, we're all about the good ol' days. The days when kids used to get together with neighborhood friends and play outside for hours on end. The days when kids came home dirty, just before dark, after spending their morning throwing a ball around in a dusty lot and their afternoon running through the woods. The days when kids saved up their coins to walk down to the local corner store and buy themselves a treat.
Times have changed, but at Camp SMashBox we strive to bring kids back to THAT.
We call it "old school play, in a new school way."
At SMashBox, we create environments where kids get to be kids, where plans are made but are meant to be broken, and where kids - and their imaginations - have the opportunity to run wild.
Beyond the play, at the heart of what we do is our desire to love kids and staff and to communicate, "You are special. You are valuable. You serve a purpose. You matter." After that, we seek to ignite a passion for adventure and the great outdoors, develop impeccable character, cultivate creativity, and inspire our participants to love themselves, love one another, and love and care for our wonderful world.
