“Being a role model for younger kids is incredible. It's like being a parent for ten weeks- suddenly you stop caring about yourself and your own problems because your kids are your #1 priority. I learned such valuable leadership skills, workplace skills, and a lot about myself as well. It's awesome to be around kids but then get to hang out with your fellow counselors at the end of the day. ”
