About CARDONE Industries

Whether it is the parts that we remanufacture for the automotive aftermarket, the partnerships with our suppliers and customers, the careers of our people, or our communities, CARDONE is committed to building it better. Since 1970, when Michael Cardone Sr. and his son Michael Cardone Jr. began remanufacturing wiper motors in the basement of a Philadelphia rowhouse, we have been committed to excellence. Today, CARDONE has operations in three countries and boasts more than 6000 Factory Family Members. CARDONE started in 1970 with six full-time employees. We’ve now grown to more than 6,000. Each one of us is uniquely gifted. Each one of us is expertly qualified. Each one of us is a vital member of the CARDONE team.

Together, we are a force in the remanufacturing marketplace. We are artists, technical mavens, planners, gearheads and masters of all things automotive. We’re relentless thinkers, mad geniuses, hard workers, patient perfectionists, and impassioned idealists.

Servant Leadership is a way of life that influences, models, supports and encourages people to serve others first. It is a way to personally develop and pursue excellence in every area of life. We firmly believe that the only way people can be good leaders is if they are willing to set aside a selfish pursuit of power, ego, and pride for the good of those they serve. CARDONE Industries uses this model because people are at the heart of our company. We believe our Factory Family Members (FFMs) are our greatest resource

CARDONE is committed to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of our employees. You won’t find a sign at CARDONE that reads: “Park your personal problems at the door.” That’s because we firmly believe compartmentalizing our lives in such way is impossible, not to mention unhealthy.

CARDONE’s commitment to the holistic health of our employees goes beyond a simple wellness program. It includes investment in:
•Full-time, on-site health coaches who provide employees with group exercise classes and individual guidance on reducing risk factors.
•Body composition analyzers who offer feedback to employees on their progress towards a healthy lifestyle.
•On-staff chaplains who can provide emotional and therapeutic support to employees 24/7.

Our employees can also take advantage of generous healthcare benefits, a robust 401(k) retirement plan, and competitive time off benefits that include paid parental leave.

Oh… we also know how to have fun together, too!

An industry leader in aftermarket innovation and engineering, we work to create parts that meet or exceed the Original Equipment designs - providing affordable, quality parts to drivers across the country.

We could carry on and on about our 90-plus product lines, a catalog of more than 40,000 CARDONE parts, and the 7 categories we service. But that wouldn’t begin to get at the heart of what makes our company run. The engine that propels us forward is fueled by one driving force: the pursuit of excellence in all that we do. “We are on a mission to be the best remanufacturer in the world. It’s who we are. And when it comes to excellence, three basic values help steer every decision we make: quality, performance, and integrity.” One of the principles we have built upon along the way is this: To be successful, innovation cannot be an afterthought. That’s why CARDONE continues to look forward and stay ahead as we consistently make late model technology available to the aftermarket. We build parts that last longer, which keeps cars running, protects people’s wallets, and helps families stay safe.

Saving the environment one core at a time...
Remanufacturing is one of the simplest ways to achieve environmental sustainability. It saves over 80% of the energy and raw material required to manufacture a new part and keeps used parts, otherwise known as "cores," out of landfills. Remanufacturing can often improve the original design by using re-engineering techniques to determine why a part failed prematurely.

That ability to diagnose flaws, renew original cores and improve their performance is what differentiates remanufacturing from recycling, where used products are broken down to their raw form.

CARDONE has been operating in an environmentally conscious manner since we first opened our doors in 1970. In fact, protection and conservation of the common environment is a fundamental component of our corporate policy. Over 47 years later, our business has grown but our ecological footprint has remained small. This didn’t happen by accident. We view our impact on the environment through the lens of social responsibility, not just profitability. As stewards of the earth, we have developed our remanufacturing processes following the principles of sustainability – Reuse, Recycle, Refurbish.
