I was embedded into a product team and started working immediately. My team was extremely welcoming, and I would have not changed anything. I learned so much and made an actual impact on the product and the company.
What I wish was different
Honestly just that it had been longer. I really enjoyed my work and the people every day that I was there.
Advice
Balance your time with your team and your fellow interns. For me, my team was remote, so all my social interaction occurred with the other interns, which I really enjoyed and made some wonderful friendships.

Definitely apply even if you don't think you're the right major. If you like data/problem solving and are a hard worker, they'll help you learn the rest.

Onboarding took two weeks, but could have been shortened or could have included more onboarding with the actual team.

I really liked the atmosphere. The people there were so great and everyone was so nice and welcoming.

The onboarding process was a bit dragged out but was definitely very detailed for someone who doesn't have a strong background.
Advice
Enjoy your time there - the company as a whole values enthusiasm more than previous experience (good to have though)
