What I liked

I liked how everyone in the office was really close. It was more like a family than a professional atmosphere. The dress code was casual which helped me feel less intimidated. I was able to interact with Vice Presidents and the CEO on a regular basis.

What I wish was different

I wish I had received some form of formal training. It was trial and error for the first couple of weeks when I was making advertisements and fliers. I also wish I would have gotten to shadow my marketing manager more. They were in the middle of an acquisition and I wish I would have been able to see how that process looks from a marketing stand point. I also wish I would have been able to attend a trade show.
