I loved the community and the Christian environment. As long as I continued to work hard, it was okay if I took a few minutes to listen to someone's story or pray for them. I also enjoyed how we were truly a team and constantly encouraged each other to work harder.
What I wish was different
I wish that scheduling could have been a little bit more consistent. I received my schedule the week before which made life hard to plan because I needed to plan around work but was unsure as to what days I would be working and for how long.
Advice
It is a fantastic job to work as a high school student and even college student because it is hourly and usually works around a school schedule really well. A piece of advice I would give would be to not take things personally. Working with customers can be hard, especially when they are hungry. Take deep breaths and don't let your feathers be ruffled. Be the bigger person in the circumstance.

What I liked
I enjoyed getting to work for a company so well known for their hospitality and great food. I was able to adapt to such a fast paced environment with the help of a friendly staff. They were also very flexible with scheduling me to work.
What I wish was different
I wish the training would have been longer than one day because the store was just opening so the lines were very long, and at the beginning we were not trained well enough to handle that.
Advice
I would say that you should never judge an opportunity before you try it. I was skeptical about working in the fast food industry. However, I learned a lot of lessons that can help me in future careers.
