What I liked

The ability to choose projects and initiatives that I felt were needed at that time to help move the organization forward. You very much feel like you own your work with Citizens for Decency.

What I wish was different

They are continuously working on improving their internship and mentor-ship programs, and now I'm a part of making that happen as well.

Advice

You must be willing to take initiative and if you see something that needs to be done do it. There won't be anyone holding your hand, if you step out of line on something don't be afraid either they're good about telling you when a line has been crossed, but won't make you feel bad either.
