What I liked
Super fun people and very useful life applicable skills, as well as a great management staff \.
What I wish was different
There's nothing the management could really do about it, but often times there was an influx of hours that needed covering for high school students who would go out of town for summer vacation.
Advice
Really learn the materials required to do the job. I never really saw lifeguarding as a big deal till I saw someone unconscious in the water and people forgetting their kids in the water and not being able to swim. It is a fun Job but it is work and important.
