The City of Richmond lies on a peninsula surrounded by San Francisco and San Pablo Bays and the Contra Costa hills. With its bay location it has a mild climate and excellent access to the entire San Francisco Bay Area as well as the Delta. Richmond's population is approximately 107,597.
