Working for the city of Temecula, my intern supervisor gave me the responsibility of working specifically with the Temecula Valley Entrepreneur's Exchange Incubator team. As a communications major I was not entirely familiar with entrepreneurship yet this work environment allowed me to explore the field. I also enjoyed working with a diverse group of people with business backgrounds.
What I wish was different
Personally there is nothing that I would wish differently because the overall environment and responsibility I had was great!
Advice
For those considering an internship, I would advise to not be discouraged when applying to internships and not being accepted. Prior to my acceptance as an intern for the City of Temecula, I applied to 7 companies.
